Deputy Chair

A graduate of the University of Canterbury, Deane’s professional background is in arts marketing and communications. Committed to helping develop Christchurch’s cultural landscape, he has worked with both the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and the Christchurch Arts Festival. He is currently working with Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology’s creative industries’ faculty.

Deane has been a trustee since 2008 and was elected deputy chair in 2009. He is a member of the board’s finance committee.
