Gillian HealdGillian has held several leadership roles in education, including principal of Rangi Ruru Girls’ School and co-director of Unlimited Paenga Tawhiti. She is recognised internationally for her role as Guardian of New Zealand’s Secondary Futures project and is currently the Education Specialist for the New Zealand United World College project. She has extensive governance experience in a range of organisations including Rutherford’s Den, the Independent Schools Council, the University of Canterbury Council, the Aurora College Establishment Board and Canterbury Opera, and is currently a trustee of the University of Canterbury Foundation. In 2010, Gillian was awarded the MNZM for Services to Education. |
