The Christchurch Tapestry Workshop

Artist, tapestry weaver Marilyn Rea-Menzies creates unique contemporary handowven tapestries on her two Lapponia upright tapestry looms, using cotton, wool, linen, and some synthetic and alternative materials. Paintings, drawings, photography and digital art works are also on display in her studio space.

Marilyn teaches tapestry weaving in her 1 day and 5 day classes entitled 'A Studio Experience'. She also offers accommodation and tuition for up to two weeks for people who live out of Christchurch.
