Friday, 10 March; gold coin donation - North Quad

The Arts Centre’s beautifully restored North Quad is hosting the Leighs Construction Summer Cinema series on the second Friday of the month over summer.
Due to limited to capacity, please make sure you arrive early to secure a space and avoid missing out. We have to strictly limit the numbers for health and safety reasons, plus to ensure everyone has a memorable experience.

A gold coin donation is appreciated which will go directly toward the Arts Centre restoration programme. We’re still facing a significant funding shortfall to complete what is one of the most significant heritage projects of its kind in the world – and this is your chance to support it.

As an independent charitable trust, the Arts Centre relies upon donations, gifts and sponsorship to complete this amazing restoration.

Movies announced for Friday 10 March:

  • 5.30pm:  Toy Story (prize for best dressed character)

  • 8pm: Boy

  • Gold coin donation appreciated.
  • Bike racks located across the pedestrian crossing outside of Canterbury Museum; see other transport and car parking options.
  • The movies will feature subtitles.
  • Alcohol is not permitted in the North Quad and security will enforce this.
  • Please bring something to sit on – rugs are to be used on grassed areas, while deck chairs can be used on paved surfaces.
  • Food vendors: Get Real Ice-CreamKettle Korn, and our own fabulous food outlets – Bunsen and Zen Sushi & Dumplings.
  • This is a non-smoking event.
