Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre presents its 7th annual Sculpture Festival, featuring object art, contemporary jewellery, and outdoor sculpture by some of Aotearoa’s most exciting artists.

Curators Melissa Reimer and Ryan Dewsbury have elevated the festival further this year, selecting more than 70 recognised and promising newer artists from across the motu.

Explore over 300 works, from intricate jewellery to sculptures that really make a statement. Encounter a range of materials and styles.

The Sculpture Festival has become a must for serious collectors and art lovers.

For the art curious, this is a great opportunity to discover what New Zealand sculptors are producing at the moment. Needless to say, you can pick up excellent gifts for loved ones.

  • Great Hall: Discover small-to-medium pieces daily, 10am–5pm
  • North Quad: Wander among larger works anytime
  • Cnr Worcester Blvd & Rolleston Ave: One impressive sculpture on view anytime

Every sale supports both the artist and Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre. As a major annual fundraiser for The Arts Centre, your support helps keep Ōtautahi Christchurch’s unique creative hub thriving.
