2019 New Year Concert, Chinese Festival (NZ)

Come and celebrate the Chinese Festival (NZ) with a 2019 New Year Concert.

Performances will be pure acoustics, taking place in the Great Hall which is renowned for its excellent acoustics.

The main programme features:

  • Csárdás – Vittorio Monti
  • Fisherman’ s Harvest Song – Zili Li
  • Nocturne in C# Minor – Frédéric Chopin
  • Sonata in B Minor – Joseph Haydn
  • Waltz in E Minor – Frédéric Chopin

The Dream of the Red Chamber Suit:
For Violin Solo, Piano, Erhu, Soprano, Chorus and other instruments.

Arranged by Tina Tang.

All programmes will be introduced in bilingual.



Driving & Parking

The Arts Centre has a limited number of 10 and 30 minute visitor carparks located at Market Square near the corner of Worcester Boulevard and Montreal Street.

Plenty of on-street metered parking is available near the Arts Centre, along with a number of off-street carparks.
