Ann Robinson/John Walsh exhibition

4 October - 4 November 2018 - The Library

Through October The Central art gallery is delighted to present exhibitions by Ann Robinson and John Walsh – established New Zealand artists who have not shown in Christchurch before.

Ann Robinson’s cast glass is known around the world and her knowledge of the medium is second to none. Come and admire the way she admits lights into the forms of her work. It is always absolutely beautiful.

John Walsh is showing a variety of paintings – from mythical landscapes to dreamlike figure studies, along with a large collaborative work made with longtime friend Euan Macleod. Walsh’s work evokes another time, and often another world where the spirit of things lives vitally in painterly fields of blue, green, white and brown.
