KidsFest Pots and Pieces

9 - 10 July 2018 - Teece Museum

Kidsfest 2018 event at the Teece Museum

Discover the ancient artefacts of our world at the University of Canterbury’s Teece Museum of Classical Antiquities, be inspired, and create an artwork of your own! The event will begin with an exploration of artefacts owned and used by the Ancient Greeks and Romans, hosted by the Curators of the Museum. Children will then have the opportunity to try painting their own masterpiece on a pot to take home.

These two workshops are for children aged 8 – 13 and their caregivers. You can choose to attend either the Monday or Tuesday session. Children with mobility or medical assistance must be accompanied by a caregiver. Caregivers are welcome to accompany registered children for free. Space is limited so please register.
