Wreath-making workshop

2 & 8 December 2019 - Boys' High

Join a Rekindle wreath-making workshop and learn how to use tī kōuka/cabbage tree leaves to make a strong and beautiful twine, which we will then transform into a festive wreath.

Your wreath can then be decorated with different leaves and flowers and used at any time of year!

This class is suited to adults. Bookings are essential.

Tī kōuka leaves are such an abundant and multi-purpose material that we can find all around us. If you have access to fallen/brown tī kōuka leaves, please bring in as big a bundle as you can. If you can, please soak them first in water overnight, if not longer.

Dates: Monday 2 and Sunday 8 December 2019

Time: 5.30pm to 7.30pm (Monday) and 3.00pm to 5.00pm (Sunday)
