Description

The Arts Centre is in the midst of the biggest heritage restoration project in New Zealand, following the Canterbury earthquakes of 2010 and 2011. With 23 buildings to restore back to their original Neo Gothic magnificence, there are many projects that are underway or yet to kick off. Before the earthquakes, the Arts Centre was a rich part of city life, with over 1.5 million people visiting each year, enjoying arts, cultural and educational activities.

You can play a part in this effort. There are many opportunities to get involved and sponsor part or all of a project at the Arts Centre, ensuring that this significant historic complex remains accessible for current and future generations.

The Arts Centre is a charitable trust, not funded by the council or government. We depend on gifts and sponsorship from people like you to maintain the current restoration momentum until 2019, the planned completion date.

If you are interested in sponsoring a specific aspect of the Arts Centre that is meaningful or memorable to you, we would love the opportunity to discuss this with you. Or browse the list below to see what types of sponsorships are currently available.

Your sponsorship will be classed as a charitable donation and a tax receipt will be provided.  Please note if paying via credit card that we only accept Visa and MasterCard.
