Back by popular demand - every second Sunday of the month (except October) for the rest of the year!

When was the last time someone read you a story? The cosiest nights of the year, this is a chance for the child in all of us to return to the magical ritual of stories by candlelight... Without having to be responsible for actual children.

Come in your slippers, your pjs, your dressing gowns, oodies or blankets and snuggle up with a hot chocolate as Lizzie Tollemache's smoke and honey voice lulls you into cosy bliss.

Featuring three folktales from a time before electric lights, collected from Lizzie's travels through the mountain ranges and fishing villages of her ancestors.

Hot chocolate included in your ticket price. BYO cushion and blanket.

PLEASE NOTE this is a low fi event designed to engage the senses and recapture the magic of a winter night. We ask all ticket holders to leave any light or noise emitting devices at home or turn them off on arrival.

    Bio
Lizzie Tollemache is a performing artist, theatre maker and sideshow stuntwoman. A lifelong lover of stories, she has toured around the world weaving together moments of joy and wonder, hunting out experiences that connect people to one other (and themselves). Often this involves a sharp poke in the Feelings Area, which Lizzie has begrudgingly accepted is part of "Being Human". As the Creative Director of Rollicking Entertainment; she runs, performs, and hosts a range of live events from corporate entertainment to cabaret. As a freelance artist; she performs, writes, directs and leads theatre projects all over the place. The woman's insatiable.
