Café Operana

30 November 2020

Venue: Great Hall

Presented by the Great Hall Lunchtime Concert Series 2020, featuring Helen Webby on pedal harp, Sophia Bidwell on accordion and Lois Johnston the vocalist, Café Operana will take their listeners on a musical merry-go-round ride through Puccini’s Florence to Macedonia and beyond to discover if ‘Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris’. With their glittering costumes and breathtaking musicianship, Café Operana re-creates the heady atmosphere of a French Salon in the early 1900’s.

The Lunchtime Concert Series showcases a stellar line-up of renowned local, national and international artists performing in a beautiful heritage venue.
