He Kāri Aroha

Saturday 12 December

Time

10.00AM – 4.00PM

Can’t make the session but would love to contribute? You’re welcome to make cards at home and drop them off at Te Whare Tapere, Tuesday–Saturday 10am–4pm, by Thursday 17 December.

Venue: Te Whare Tapere

Nau mai, haere mai! Come together at Te Whare Tapere to create, share kōrero and make Kirihimete cards for whānau and hapori.

During this open session we will be making Kirihimete cards to take home and to share with kaumātua living in residential care or receiving care in hospital. Through creativity and handwritten messages, we’ll share aroha and celebrate Kirihimete with our community.

We’ll gather the cards made and arrange their delivery in time for Kirihimete.

All ages welcome, all materials provided, and no experience needed.

Tamariki under 10 must be accompanied by an adult or caregiver.

Open session—drop in anytime. No bookings required.

This event is part of Festive Fun, a holiday season of programming throughout December to get you in the Christmas mood.
