Amazing Atoms

9 to 10 July, 16 to 17 July - Rutherford's Den

Everything in Our World is made up of tiny atoms, and the work of Ernest, Lord Rutherford led to the discovery of how the inside of an atom looks. Dress as an olden-day student and explore the Rutherford’s Den exhibit. Enjoy activities in the historic lab where he studied and craft a science project. A KidsFest event for children aged 8 to 13 – $15 per child, free for caregivers (optional attendance).

Driving & Parking

The Arts Centre has a limited number of 10 and 60 minute visitor carparks located at Market Square near the corner of Worcester Boulevard and Montreal Street.

Plenty of on-street metered parking is available near the Arts Centre, along with a number of off-street carparks.
