Hannah Kidd: Absolutely

Until 8 April - The Central Art Gallery

Mid Canterbury artist Hannah Kidd showcases her beautiful metallic sculptures at The Central Art Gallery until 8 April in Absolutely.

Open to the public from 10am to 5pm, Tuesday to Sunday, The Central Art Gallery is located in the Library building, that is accessible from both the North and South quads.

Hannah Kidd is known for her tremendous ability to capture personality and form in metal.

She draws via a welded metal frame, wonderfully sensitive to the contours of her subjects – be they animal or human. The frame is then clad in flattened corrugated iron; welded, beaten and sometimes painted.

See the sculptures and find out more.
