Love of the Land

Love of the Land is a curated, group exhibition of art by local artists, celebrating our precious and beautiful land and waterways in paintings, screen printing, photography, ceramics and silver.

It includes photography by Stephen Bradley, silversmith Debbie Vuleta, textile artist Kerry-Anne Murnane, and artists Ira Mitchell-Kirk and Christine King, Ruth Reid, Linelle Stacey, Charne Christensen. Works from guest artist Nikita Wooding also appear.

The exhibition is being held in support of the Trees for Canterbury charity.

Dates: Monday 20 May to Sunday 2 June 2019

Times: 10.00am to 5.30pm, with an opening event at 6.00pm on Monday 20 May.

Venue: Pūmanawa community gallery, level one, Boys’ High building, the Arts Centre te Matatiki Toi Ora, 28 Worcester Boulevard.

Driving & Parking

The Arts Centre has a limited number of 10 and 30 minute visitor carparks located at Market Square near the corner of Worcester Boulevard and Montreal Street.

Plenty of on-street metered parking is available near the Arts Centre, along with a number of off-street carparks.
