Matariki: ‘Voices of the Land: Ngā Reo o te Whenua’ film screening

Voices of the Land: Ngā Reo o te Whenua, a 2014 Paul Wolffram film, features noted musicians Richard Nunns and Horomona Horo playing in spectacular locations around Te Wai Pounamu (the South Island) to demonstrate that the sounds of the natural world are a form of music too.

Nunns is a renowned expert in taonga pūoro, traditional Māori instruments. He mentored taonga pūoro practitioner Horo.

Driving & Parking

The Arts Centre has a limited number of 10 and 30 minute visitor carparks located at Market Square near the corner of Worcester Boulevard and Montreal Street.

Plenty of on-street metered parking is available near the Arts Centre, along with a number of off-street carparks.
