Movement of Art and Earth

26 Sept–1 Oct, 10am–5pm - Pūmanawa

Movement of Art and Earth, interactions with post-earthquake street art is a photographic exhibition by Heather Milne.

Christchurch has undergone monumental changes in the past six years. One positive change is the way art is created, funded, presented, and interacted with by a wide range of people. The movement of the earth has resulted in a movement within the Christchurch art scene.

Movement of Art and Earth will document people interacting with street art that was created since the Canterbury earthquakes. Through a series of images, viewers will see how hands-on art can be, and how it contributes to a city and community even during times of grief and rebuild.

Open daily from 26 September–1 October, 10am–5pm.
