Cubbin Theatre, the only company in Aotearoa New Zealand dedicated to making theatre for babies and very young children, has had its Company in Residence programme at Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre in Christchurch extended through 2026 and 2027, following an initial one year residency in 2025.

'From Avon to Alps' is an art exhibition of original paintings by Polina Collins inspired by the natural beauty and diversity of New Zealand. Featuring scenes that span from the gentle waterways of Christchurch’s Avon River to the dramatic peaks of the Southern Alps, the paintings capture the atmosphere, colour, and changing light unique to New Zealand.
