These studios are open to the public so you can observe the live creation of art.
The five newly fitted out artists’ studios are on the ground floor of the Engineering Extension building, right next to The Arts Centre Shop.

Desks can be rented on an exclusive basis including;
- a desk,
- chair,
- screen,
- data access,
- use of printer and photocopier,
- use of the bookable meeting room,
- and use of common space (kitchen and communal rest space with free tea and coffee).

Six Simple Machines

Ever wondered how people in the ancient Greek and Roman worlds lifted stones, built temples and moved mountains - all without electricity or engines? They used simple machines to get the job done! Grab a free copy of the activity booklet for Six Simple Machines, and learn about ancient engineering while you view the Bricks of Olympus LEGO exhibition at the Teece Museum. This activity booklet counts as a half hour stamp for Children's University.
