Revelation - The Final Chapter

The exhibition by Sanet Swart depicts 22 large oil-on-canvas paintings inspired by the Book of Revelation. The paintings seek to offer the viewer a picture-book journey through the fantastical and complex writings of John, the Apostle of Jesus, regarding the end times.

All giclée prints of the artwork will be for sale in booklet form. Larger prints will be available for order on the website.

Artist's Bio

Art has always inspired Sanet, although she started her art journey later on in life. Sanet loves the impressionist era, with colour and flow. She takes her inspiration from the world around her and enjoys storytelling.

During a very long study of the Book of the Revelation, where part of the homework was to "draw what you saw", a friend encouraged Sanet to turn her scribblings into paintings. She promised her that "One Day".

Sanet is very excited to present these paintings to you after a six-year journey (two years of study and four years of painting). She has tried to stay true to the text, but where this has not worked in the "storytelling", she has tried to remain faithful to the theme.
