Christchurch-born artist Estelle Jarvis has long been drawn to the creative possibilities of fabric. With a background in crafts and textiles spanning many years, her innovative approach has earned her several accolades including the prestigious "Best in Show" award.

In 2012, Estelle began exploring a bold new direction: transforming fabric into striking works of contemporary art. Her pieces are characterised by vibrant colour, diverse textures, and a unique use of rolled fabric to create depth and dimension. Each work is meticulously framed under glass, elevating it to a polished, professional finish.

Driven by a love for experimentation, Estelle relishes the challenge of creating one-of-a-kind artworks that stand apart from traditional forms. Her practice is a testament to the expressive power of textiles and the unexpected beauty they can bring to modern art.
