Silver Locks

From the beauty and warmth of The Arts Centre's Great Hall listen to Molly McGee performing some of the First Ladies of Song's best-loved melodies. Arranged for Silverlocks, a 9 piece swing band featuring some of Otautahi's finest musicians, these famous Ella Fitzgerald numbers will transport you to the 1930's.

The band features a mighty horn section of Mike Bickers on Trumpet, Alex Boot on Alto Sax, James Lawton on tenor, Lana Law on baritone and Glyn McDonald on Trombone. In the engine room Lou Moverley holds it all together with Mike Kime on Double Bass and Katie Martin on keys.

Jazz Club ticket options

There are two ticket options: a cabaret style table (premium seating) with a complimentary drink ($40), or theatre-style seating ($20/$25). If you choose the cabaret style table (premium seating), you are also able to purchase a platter for two ($25). We will seek dietary requirements closer to the event. The bar will be open throughout, of course.
