All Over the Place

Tuesday 21 - Sunday 26 April 2026

Time

10.00AM – 4.00PM

Venue: Pūmanawa

This exhibition is diverse in subject matter, houses, hounds, hillsides: materials, acrylics, fused glass, oils; and artists, three women doing what they love doing best.
The art will include Alison Lowe's fused art sculptural paintings, which are quirky and joyous, a real talking point in any art collection.

Rae Manson's acrylic abstract paintings are a riot of colour and form. A few of her latest subjects are dogs, some real and some imaginary, but always vibrant and fun.

Kilmeny Keyse is the master of vast Canterbury Skys, and her cloud formations dominate abstracted landforms. Her oil paintings include many iconic New Zealand landscapes.

The artworks will be for sale.

Artists' Biographies

Rae Manson's abstract works draw viewers inward. Each piece is both an observation and an invitation to slow down, to look closely, and to find in the movement of colour and form something that resonates with themselves.

Alison Lowe's latest venture is fused glass. Cutting and cooking glass pieces requires a whole new take on an unfamiliar medium. The onsite glass kiln is working full time, and the magic happens overnight at 804 degrees Celsius. The carefully cut and arranged glass pieces melt and become a sculpture in relief.

Kilmeny Keyse is continuing her exploration of abstracted land forms against a background of sumptuous Baroque clouds inspired by the vibrant setting sun over the wide New Zealand landscape.
