    'Aroha gazed up towards the Nga Whetū o Matariki. They wondered what the stars heard and they wondered what they could see from so so far.'

    2023 Artist-in-residence Lisa Tui Aroha presents a fruity culmination of improvisational skills, musical styles and play including classical karaoke, the aroha ha haaaaas, and songs of the grandmothers.

    Joining the mix is bass playing creative and composer Todd Jones described as amazing for decades. Todd lends his responsive supportive tones to the evenings journey from the stars to home.

    It’s an evening concert, discovering a of view from above.
