Big Bands Play at The Arts Centre

Venue: North Quad

The All Girl Big Band, Garden City Big Band and Dunedin City Jazz Orchestra will play music hits in the wonderful outdoor heritage space of The Arts Centre. The bands are celebrating the 19th year of the Labour Weekend Christchurch Big Band Jazz Festival (CBBJF).  

1pm Garden City Big Band

2pm All Girl Big Band

3pm Dunedin City Jazz Orchestra

NOTE: It will be held in the beautiful North Quad, and if wet/cold/windy, it will relocate to the Great Hall. "Wet weather" tickets for seats the Great Hall will be available on Saturday 25th via the Arts Centre website and on the Christchurch Big Band Jazz Festival website.

Treat yourself to food and drink from the nearby vendors and settle in for a fun afternoon. 

This event is part of the Christchurch Heritage Festival (11 - 27 October 2025).
