Carols around the Fireplace

Gather around the piano for a nostalgic Christmas sing-along led by The Arts Centre’s Creative Director Chris Archer and vocalists Petrina Chisholm and Naomi Ferguson.

Petrina Chisholm is a singer, actor, director and educator who has worked nationally in Aotearoa for over 20 years. She has recently returned to Christchurch from Tauranga where she taught Drama as well as performing in and directing shows bands and choirs for the last 15 years, and is excited to have new projects on the go here such as the epic 90s tribute show 'Girl Power Show NZ’, of which she is a founding member.

Naomi Ferguson is a performer who has worked nationally in Aotearoa for over 20 years. During this time she has worked with orchestras, theatre companies and arts festivals around the country. Recent performances include headlining the 2024 Tauranga Jazz Festival with the All Girl Big Band, The Music is Bond with Orchestra Wellington and Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, and the orchestral tour of R.E.S.P.E.C.T - A Celebration of History’s Greatest Pop Divas.
