Come and join members of the Christchurch City Chorus as they share a variety of Christmas carols in four-part harmony. Sing along to your favourites, or sit back and let the beautiful harmonies wash over you. Set in the stunning Great Hall, this performance is sure to delight young and old — it’s not one to be missed!
Founded in 1985, master director Virginia Humphrey-Taylor has grown the Christchurch City Chorus into Australasia’s leading female a cappella group. Recently returned from placing fifth in the world at the International Sweet Adelines Competition in Kansas City, the Chorus remains dedicated to enriching the lives of its members and the community through friendship, education, and barbershop musical excellence.
Before and after the show catch the sounds of Summer Breeze Saxophone Quartet in the North Quad.
