Ching-Yu Tseng will collaborate with the newly founded Music Star String Ensemble as soloist and leader in Haydn’s Cello Concerto. The performance will be presented without a conductor, offering a significant artistic challenge for this young ensemble, whose members are aged 11–15.
Following the concerto, violinist Ko Hsu and pianist Tsai Wei Chen of Music Star, together with Tseng, will perform “Ode to Life,” a piano trio by composer Shih, Ching-Ju. This programme brings together three musicians from Taiwan in a heartfelt tribute to their musical heritage.
