Student Horizons School Orchestra

Saturday 28 June 2025

Time

12.45PM – 1.30PM

Venue: Great Hall

Excitement is building as 40 of our talented instrumental music students from Pacific Lutheran College prepare to embark on an unforgettable music tour of the South Island.

The ensemble will perform in a range of venues and cities, including The Arts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora, with the aim of sharing their passion for music with local communities and fellow students.

The touring repertoire promises to be as diverse as it is impressive. Audiences can expect a dynamic mix of orchestral works, beloved film soundtracks, timeless jazz, and solo performances. Each concert will reflect the dedication, creativity, and energy our students bring to every rehearsal and performance.

This tour is more than just a performance opportunity, It’s a chance for our students to grow as musicians and as people — collaborating, learning from new experiences, and building memories that will last a lifetime.
