Sculpture Festival 2025

Sat 4 - Sun 19 October 2025

Time

10.00AM – 5.00PM

Venue: Great Hall and North Quad

Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre is proud to present the 6th annual Sculpture Festival—a vibrant showcase of object art, contemporary jewellery, and outdoor sculpture by some of Aotearoa’s most exciting artists.

This year, we welcome a completely revitalised curatorial team. Curators Melissa Reimer and Ryan Dewsbury bring a bold new vision and fresh perspectives; almost one-third of festival artists are new in 2025.

Explore over 200 works, from intimate handcrafted objects to striking large-scale installations, across a range of materials and styles—perfect for collectors, art lovers, and the simply curious.

  • Great Hall: Discover small-to-medium pieces daily, 10am–5pm
  • North Quad: Wander among larger works anytime

Every piece tells a story - and every sale supports both the artist and the future of The Arts Centre. As a major annual fundraiser for Te Matatiki Toi Ora, your support helps keep Ōtautahi Christchurch’s unique creative hub thriving.
