Harry Harrison has produced a large body of jazz compositions spanning across styles from the avant-garde to post-bop, contemporary, ballads, jazz-funk and bossa. A range of work written for large and small jazz ensembles, symphony orchestra and solo guitar. Melodic lyricism set amongst adventurous harmony and form, and a guitar style that shifts between warm classic jazz tones through to a contemporary overdriven, angular sound.
