World Buskers Festival 2026 brings ten days of big energy, live performance, and the kind of mayhem that only buskers can whip up!

Ōtautahi Christchurch turns into a giant playground filled with international talent, local legends, and surprise moments waiting around every corner.

Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre is where the nights really take off. Be sure to catch:

Buskers Jam: 23-31 Jan, 7-9pm: a fan favourite featuring a rotation of the Buskers in a fast, cheeky mix of circus, comedy, acrobatics, and pure chaos where no two nights are ever the same. Tickets: $10. R16. (Book Tickets)

Late Night Cabaret: 24 & 25, 29-31 January, 10.30-11.30pm: this is the buskers uncensored! World-class mischief-makers serving up circus, burlesque, and wicked comedy that gleefully tramples every boundary. Tickets: $30. R18. (Book Tickets)

SMASH! Boylesque MKII: 24 & 25 January, 9-10pm: back by popular demand! Big laughs, bigger moves, and a few moments that will leave you fanning yourself. Tickets: $42. R18. (Book Tickets)

Next Gen: 27 & 28 January, 6.30-7.30pm: high-energy variety show featuring artists aged 7 to 17; be among the first to see the next generation of stars. Tickets: $15 (kids), $20 (adults). (Book Tickets)

Mere Mortals: 29-31 January, 9-10pm: a visually striking fusion of circus and theatre that reimagines ancient gods for the modern world, blending physicality with immersive storytelling in one powerful hit. Tickets: $45. R18. (Book Tickets)
