Forget Me Not Memorials Trail

5 January – 3 February 2019 - Teece Museum, 3 Hereford St, Christchurch

Roses are red, violets are blue, here’s a scavenger hunt for the family to do.

Use the map, follow the clues, to find the memorials all around you!

Looking for a free family activity these summer holidays? Come and try the Forget Me Not Memorials Trail – a special scavenger hunt for families to enjoy together. Collect the trail activity booklet from the Teece Museum, and go on a hunt around the historic Christchurch arts precinct, looking for memorials that celebrate the achievements of special New Zealanders (and a few ancient Romans for good measure!).

The trail will take you on a journey into the past along Worcester Boulevard and around the Arts Centre, but don’t worry – it’s a trip you will be able to do on two feet! Tackle the challenge and go into the draw to win a great family prize pack, including gifts from the Teece Museum, Rutherford’s Den, Canterbury Museum and the Christchurch Art Gallery.

Proudly presented by the University of Canterbury Teece Museum in association with the Arts Centre of Christchurch, Canterbury Museum and the Christchurch Art Gallery.

Collect the activity booklet from the Teece Museum, 3 Hereford St, Christchurch.
