Explore colour and clay in this creative ceramics workshop for ages 12+. A fun, hands-on holiday activity limited to two participants per session so you get lots of attention. No experience required.
In ceramics, a 'slip' is a slurry, mixture of clay and water. Artists can decorate their ceramics in vibrant colours by mixing coloured pigments into a clay slip.
You will learn the techniques the professionals use to make a coloured slip and then apply what you've learnt to decorate a miniature ceramic Great Hall in your own unique style!
Enjoy busy days exploring, creating and learning. Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre is made for memories.
