Monday 05 January 12-5pm
Sunday 18 January 10am-1pm

Venue: Pūmanawa Exhibition Space

This exhibition is to highlight and promote the work of artists of the Cranmer Group and life drawing. The membership is wide and varied, and includes experienced and novice artists, including Neil Fitzgerald, who has been a member since 1994.

The Cranmer Studio Group was founded in 1993. The group was originally multi-faceted and met at The Arts Centre.
Following several changes of location and members, it now concentrates solely on untutored life drawing sessions.
The group meets every Tuesday night from 7pm to 9.30pm from mid-January to mid-December at Linwood Arts, Eastside Gallery, at 388 Worcester Street, Christchurch. The sessions are $20 per artist and $10 for students.
Some early artists involved in the group include Pam Englefield, Rob McDowell, Ola Swolf. Later members have included Juliet McAra, Vicki Kundson, John Boyd, and Jean Lockler.
Current members include Jeff Elliott, Jon Jeet, Alan Raine, Jasper van der Lingen, and Jonathan Auton.
Exhibiting artists are Alan Raine, Jon Jeet, Jasper van der Lingen, Isabel Langford, Naho Choco, Marina Begg, and Gavin James.
We encourage members of the public to view our work, and, if interested, come along and join our sessions, either as artists or as models.

Please contact us via Facebook.

This exhibition includes imagery of nude bodies.
