Carol brings strong governance and financial experience to the Board. Her governance experience includes service on the boards of commercial entities, Crown entities, risk and assurance committees, and national and local community-focused organisations.

Carol also brings more than 20 years’ experience in Chief Financial Officer and executive roles across the private and public sectors.

Carol is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors New Zealand. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration (Distinction) from the University of Canterbury.

The Arts Centre holds special memories for Carol and her family, and she feels privileged to contribute her skills, experience, and commitment to the community and Arts Centre Board.
