David is a commercial/corporate partner with Anderson Lloyd. He has over 35 years of experience as a lawyer and advises advising a wide range of organisations, including several charitable trusts.

He has extensive governance experience with both charitable and business organisations. He has a close association with The Arts Centre of Christchurch having grown up in Christchurch. His father attended law school when the University, which was situated at the site in the early 1960's.

David has a strong interest in Christchurch history, architecture and contemporary New Zealand Art.

He is a member of the Institute of Directors.
