Arts Centre offers makers free space

The Arts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora is offering free short-term space to creative practitioners in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.

From July to September 2020, the Maker Workshop in the old School of Art building will be available free for periods of two hours to one day, for creative workshops, events or group activities. Weekdays, nights and weekends are all possibilities depending on availability. Up to five days total use will be considered per applicant.

The Maker Workshop is full of light and features modern heating. It comes equipped with workbenches, stools, sinks, easels, a drying rack, and a piano.

Enquiries are welcome from any creative practitioners or community groups - dancers, visual artists, musicians, dramatists, we want to hear from all of you!

Let us know what you are keen to do and when you would like to do it by emailing Chris and Hannah at programmes@artscentre.org.nz and we will let you know what’s possible.
