Covid-19 (novel coronavirus) update

This is the situation as at 4pm on 23 March 2020

The Arts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora is in the process of shutting down for four weeks, in the line with the New Zealand Government directive.

The galleries, museums, eateries and bars, and cinema are now closed.

We will not run any public events on site in the next month. There may be some online activities for the autumn school holiday programme, so watch this space.

By Wednesday our site will be fully closed, including all retail and the work restoring our heritage buildings.

We encourage people to continue to support local creatives and small businesses online.
