Te Roopū Toiora invites you to their Survivors Exhibition, He Kura Toiora ki Ōtautahi. Held in Te Whare Tapere and Altiora, Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre, Ōtautahi Christchurch.
He Kura Toiora is a three-day event and includes an array of visual and performing arts that captures the narratives and experiences of Survivors. It is our intention to bring awareness to the general public about Survivors' stories, and to create a space that centres around the healing of our community.
Many survivors use toi to hold and express their stories, as a means of support on their healing journey. The exhibition will be a forum to share the experiences of Survivors with the public, giving a platform for Survivors to be seen and heard.
