Keina Rollinson (aged 18) is a multi-instrumentalist who has been studying percussion, cello and trombone since the age of 9. Currently she is a first year Bachelor of Music student at the University of Canterbury and teaches percussion and cello students. She performs regularly in CSO and Woolston Brass, as well as being part of the National Brass Band of NZ. Achievements that she is most proud of include at the NZCT Chamber Music Contest National finals, her groups claiming 1st prize in 2022 and 3rd prize in 2025, as well becoming the Open Solo Champion of Champions at the National Brass Band Championships in 2025.

This event is part of the Rising Stars 2026 programme. A Tuesday lunchtimes concert series that focuses on encouraging, nurturing and providing a performance platform for emerging young musicians.
