Did you know that the Greek god Atlas was responsible for holding up the whole world? Hope he doesn’t drop it! The ancient Greeks also believed that Atlas made the stars turn and taught people all about astronomy, so they could navigate the seas and connect with the world around them.
During the Christchurch Heritage Festival, you can help Atlas locate six objects on display in the UC Teece Museum and connect them to the modern-day countries they originally called home. Join in this family friendly activity and go in the draw to win a prize pack!
