Dan Robertson & Fiona Pears Quartet

The first half on this concert features The Dan Robertson Trio with Fiona Pears, for an exciting programme spanning classical, tango, jazz, Latin, and Celtic traditions and showcasing Fiona's compositions.

The second act sees The Trio perform the music of Bill Evans. Known for his lyrical touch, lush chords, and introspective lines, Evans was influenced by such composers as Ravel and Debussy and used that influence to reshape the sound of jazz. Tonight's programme draws from his rich body of work, from intimate ballads to the harmonically adventurous trio writing.

Brought to the fore by Christchurch's hottest piano trio, this will be a vibrant and fiery array of musical flavours from four of the city's finest musicians.
