The Dolfin–Lin Duo emerged from a serendipitous encounter at a 2021 music festival in Italy, which brought together Hungarian cellist Balázs Dolfin and Chinese–New Zealand pianist Tony Chen Lin.
Sharing parallel educational paths in Hungary and Germany, the duo channels a dynamic, spontaneous musical energy fuelled by a deep mutual commitment to chamber music, a shared artistic vision, and a close personal friendship. Although their influences and backgrounds span multiple continents, they still regard Budapest as their musical home, a place whose rich artistic traditions continue to inspire and nourish their work.
At this concert they will be sharing favourite works from their recently completed Chamber Music New Zealand tour.

This concert is part of the Great Hall Lunchtime Concert Series 2026.
