After last year’s sold-out Oceans concert, the only way for Symposium Dectet is up. This year the band are taking flight presenting compositions and arrangements on the vast theme of Sky. With new compositions by Tom Rainey, Alex van den Broek, Cameron Pearce as well as other group members and local composers this is NZ jazz at its finest. Presented in the glorious airy acoustic of the Great Hall, you’re in for a heavenly evening of music.
From the flight deck this is your captain, Alex van den Broek, speaking: please fasten your seatbelt, put your tray table up and enjoy this flight on Air Symposium. The conditions are excellent, and the flight time is two hours. So, sit back and enjoy your world class in-flight entertainment!
