After a very successful sell out show during New Zealand Fashion Week and by popular demand, COLLAR is coming to Ōtautahi.

This collective exhibition brings together a group of invited makers, each responding to the collar as both object and adornment. Personally designed and made by each maker, every piece reflects an individual practice while contributing to a shared narrative that celebrates craftsmanship, process, and the enduring value of making by hand.

Suspended together as a single installation, the collars become a portrait of contemporary making in Aotearoa revealing the richness of material exploration, technical skill, and creative expression across disciplines.

With support from Christchurch City Council, for one afternoon only and nested comfortably during the Spring Fashion Festival.

With a drink on entry if desired - kindly supplied by our good friends at Pegasus Bay Wines and Lyttel Ninja Kombucha.

    Scented space by Daddy
    Live noise by Ben Woods
Live documentation by Emma Wallbanks and Sam Norton.

*Exhibition runs for three hours only. Please come anytime inside these three hours, allowing for at least 30 minutes to make your way through.
