Michael’s performing experience includes the Christchurch Piano Competition, NZCT Chamber Music Competition, IRMT recitals and competitions, and many more. Some of Michael’s significant successes include the Soroptomist Scholarship at age 10, the ROSL Scholarship at age 13, and NZCT Chamber Music Contest placings in 2024.

It’s remarkable to think Christine first appeared in the Rising Stars Recital Series as recently as 2020.

The series showcases a rich variety of jazz styles, from smooth and sultry to bold and electrifying. Set within the Great Hall, Jazz Club is a relaxed evening of live music, drinks, and conversation in an intimate cabaret-style setting. Choose your experience with premium cabaret-style reserved tables or relaxed theatre-style seating to simply sit back and soak in the sound.
